Patti Warashina
January 14–March 12, 2006

Continuing her exploration of humor, politics and satire through ceramic sculpture, Warashina's exhibition will present work from two series. In Real Politique a circle of dreamlike figures encircle a solitary figure, capturing it in a ring of carnivalesque activity. In Drunken Power Series Warashina uses the form and objects of a sake serving set as a space for cunning satirical commentary on today's political landscape.
